Acadia is looking for an experienced Ocean Marine Underwriter to join our team. Responsibilities for this position include evaluating, selecting, and pricing complex ocean marine insurance policies for designated accounts to ensure profitable growth. The person in this position must successfully manage relationships with agents and make agency visitations leading to significant premium growth in support of the company's marketing strategies.
Successful candidates will have ocean marine experience in yacht, commercial hull, and P&I and marine liability. In addition to knowledge of the Northeast marketplace and Atlantic coast, candidates should have strong relationships with marine agents/brokers which will lead to significant premium growth.
Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, excellent communication, customer service skills, analytical ability and organizational skills.
